  1. Offahangue is very good but so was teague. The difference was Webb and Halliday weren't international class, lynagh and campese and horan were all time greats. Ackford and dooley were policemen and picked politically ahead of better players, and every time I look back at a big game I'm justified in that statement, ordinary players indeed

  2. Actually Willie O didn't do much in this game. Which was a surprise because in the summer he had been on fire and demolished the England pack in July 1991 in Sydney when the Aussies won 40-15.

  3. Ah the good old days of rugby when they fed the ball in straight at the scrums, the forwards didn't take an eternity to complete the scum, scrums weren't a means just to win a penalty, players had to release immediately when they were tackled and they hit the ground and they allowed rucking and the breakdown wasn't as big a mess as it is today.
